lol when I saw this post pop back up to the top I was hoping this release was working. I still have my 1080p version ripped in case this one takes a while like Fury did :)
4k disk has been ripped 1 year 2 monthes ago.
I have another problem. Makemkv can`t see main movie when I am trying to make mkv from disk folder. Please see attachment.
I have the exact same problem

Two years later...guess it's time to give up hope on this one.

There is just one version of Zombeiland (dump suffix 1C8D) that still does not work.
Ditto above and bummer. I finally got my UHD drive, and I am also one of the lucky lottery winners with the 1C8D version of Zombieland. Are there more 2.1 disks in the wild to finally get the "new" method in play?

I have Zombieland UHD CC8B version and same problem, so seems like there aren't enough 2.1 discs out there yet. What's funny is that I got the copy that had both Zombieland and Zombieland Double Tap UHD discs where double tap is a 2.0 disc that decrypts flawlessly

It's wild that Sony chose to go with 2.1 for the UHD version of first Zombieland, but not for the sequel.

You submitted the dump? Earlier in this thread.Mike indicates only 1 'problem' version (1C8D).

Yup, sent twice two months ago and posted a thread on it a couple of days ago on it.

Has anything else been released that uses AACS 2.1? Also has anyone purchased Zombieland UHD lately and didn't run into AACS 2.1 encryption? (wondering if you can even get a copy of this anymore that can be ripped by makemkv)

I am also having issues getting Zombieland 4K UHD to rip; I've already submitted the AACS dump.

Here's a link to my first post in in the "AACS 2.1support" thread about it that I found before I was pointed to this one:

dump file:
MKB21_v70_Zombieland_CC8A.tgz
36.7MB / 38,494,462 bytes as shown in file properties in Win10

I can't RIP Zombieland v1C8C, even on the latest version.
In fact, I can't RIP anything w/AACS2.1...
I am using an older version of OS X (Monterrey), unsure if that matters.

I've sent in the TGZ dump....

MKB21_v70_Zombieland_1C8C.tgz

Despite what you've read in this thread, there are at least 3 versions of ZL1 AACS2.1 that cannot/will not ever be able to be ripped. Unfortunately for you, 1C8C is one of those three. And I suspect there are more but I don't have the resources to confirm.

I wish studios would allow a direct download of content you own.
Using their "codes" means you never really own the title, and they can remove whenever they want - even though you purchased it WITH a license to view through one of the various services...

I would break my personal rule to torrent this, but I don't know how and it's obviously illegal....

I'm with ya on that one. I waited too long to try and rip my UDH copy of Zobieland, so I am stuck with a copy (same as you - 1C8C) that will never have the option to rip. I even tried another software program and it failed too. But I was on the trial version and it said it couldn't rip this title on the trial version and to please purchase. No thanks. I bet it would have failed too and I would have been out $100. Far cheaper to buy a newer copy of ZL (if it ever goes on sale). I have this title on BD also, so I'm in no rush.
