Groundhog Day

Post by bobby2478 » Fri Oct 29, 2021 4:09 pm

Wondering which title from Groundhog Day (netflix rental blu ray) is the correct one? There were 2 that I ripped, T00 and T03. Both appear to be same length and size so not sure what the difference is and which one is the right one?

Which play list? The Txx numbers aren't important, but the play list file name is usually the key.

Well I already ripped the disc awhile ago and so don't have the disc with me anymore. I just ripped both titles that were what i'd expect for size. So following are the 2 titles (files) I ripped:

Groundhog Day_t00.mkv (18.9gb)
Groundhog Day_t03.mkv (18.6gb)

Both appear to be 1:41:04 in length

I do not remember if this is a Disney released disk. If it is, the first one has English title pages and credits, while the second will be either French or Spanish for those sections. Otherwise, they are same.

Some people I know are in that movie... it was filmed on the Woodstock Square.

According to IMDB, the latest distributor for Groundhog Day is Sony, which is owned by Disney, so the first one (T00) should be the "English Language Version".

Errr, when did Disney buy Sony?
I know they bought 20th Century Fox.

Looks like I overstated - Disney has been distributing Sony stuff for a while, but it looks like they didn't actually BUY Sony.

i just got the disc as well but was confused by the fact that t00 has only 16 chapters where as t03 has 31 chapters but its even weirder
t04 has 0 chapters and they are all the same length
