4K BluRay

Post by iismithii »

Howdy y'all,

I hope you're well. I obtained a 4k BluRay of the Green Knight that I'm attempting to rip, with no luck. Got some curious errors stating that "LibreDrive compatible drive is required to open this disc - video can't be decrypted."

Attempted troubleshooting:
I've got the Enable Internet Access box checked
Just downloaded the latest version of MakeMKV
Restarted computer (Windows 10)
Waited for Windows to recognize disk before launching MakeMKV

I've included some logs below. Any help would be appreciated~

Is this the first 4K movie you've tried to rip?

MakeMKV requires a LibreDrive compatible optical drive to rip UHDs. You seem to have an optical drive that can be made LibreDrive compatible. You'll need to get the right firmware on the drive to make it work.
