Silly me didn't do enough research and bought a disk drive that does not support LibreDrive, before starting my ripping journey. The disk drive works just fine for standard blu-rays but not UHD
I'm just wounding if hash keys are still be generated? I have a number of UHD that I want to RIP but cant. I have kept all the dump files and can email them in if needed.
Thanks
Are hash keys getting updated?
Re: Are hash keys getting updated?
Hash keys are generated frequently as new 4k disks appear. But that doesn't help when the hardware refuses to read the disk.
Keys should not be needed for non-UHD disks, though.
What does MakeMKV say about your drive?

Re: Are hash keys getting updated?
After doing some more reading the UHD drive I bought doesn't actually support UHD fully.
I have returned that one and ordered one of the MakeMKV has confirmed supports UHD.
