I installed MakeMKV on a Win10 machine and then installed VLC. Under the integration tab I get System32, SysWOW64, and VLC. I've tried checking just VLC and all three items but VLC keeps telling me that my disc is corrupt. I get this result on multiple discs. MakeMKV rips the disc just fine.
What am I missing? I thought it was supposed to be plug and play on windows. Did I miss a step?
Thanks.

Re: VLC Bluray playback not working
That's what I did. Open Disc, select Blu Ray. Menu doesn't seem to matter wether it's checked or not.

Indeed I was as I didn't bother loading my license just to test it on another machine. Once I did that everything worked.Billycar11 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 02, 2021 12:14 amTrial version of makemkv does not work with on the fly playback

However, it would have been nice if it told me that was the issue instead of insisting that my disc was corrupted.
Re: VLC Bluray playback not working
Thank you for this, been puzzling this out for an hour. It would be good if in the integration menu it told you that the feature didn't work unless the product was registered. I am planning to buy a license, but I figured as I still had 70 days left on evaluation I would wait until closer to the time.baishen wrote: ↑Thu Sep 02, 2021 10:53 amIndeed I was as I didn't bother loading my license just to test it on another machine.
