HELP! MAKEMKV always freezes now after creating an mkv

As it says above, after its finished creating an mkv from my bluray m2ts main movie files, it seems to have finished as it says its now saving the file....then the timer stops and the beachball starts spinning and doesnt stop. CPU usage is pretty low but it still says the thread is runnung nearly 100%

As its creating the mkv, it is generating an increasingly large file, but then once it freezes it deletes that mkv file being generated....strange.

Ive got a new macbook pro 15" i7 2.8ghz, 8gb ram, main drive is on a owc mercury ssd and user directory and backups on momentus xt hybrid ssd 500gb (taken out superdrive to fit 2nd drive). Latest version of osx 10.6.6.

IT DID manage to do one successfully (bluray rip of v for vendetta). It doesnt generate an error report specific for the app ( have to force quit to get out of makemkv) but it does generate an osx error report....unless that is specific to the app when it freezes?

Please send me the OSX report. Make sure you're using latest version, 1.6.5

ok will do. As an update, I just managed to save the main bluray movie file m2ts for "King of New York" from 1990 and it worked fine. For everything else, forget it. Tried matrix again and alot of other blu rays and still freezing and getting the beachball...then needing to force quit. Check your inbox for the dump. Thanks for your help

You have a quite different error. What disc are you trying to open?

I dont use a BD-Disc, its a AVCHD folder. The name of the movie ist "the dark knight".

But makemkv freezed, at the beginning of remux/reencode..
At Windows the same Problem. The *.m2ts file ist corrupt ..
I think, that's not the Problem of makemkv.
