TENET UHD RB - Failed to open disk

What drive do you have?

I believe it's this one.

I can try Tenet again later, if I read the thread correctly a dump file was sent for the amazon US version I have.

Hash file wrong means you got a read error not that the key was not available

Thank You. The drive is almost new and seems good but I did go for the cheapest solution so maybe I'll try another model. I still have an old external LG Blu Ray drive that I used for Blu Rays and it seemed much better so that's why I thought LG would be good and maybe they are but not this particular drive.

I had a world of problems with this disc. I bought a new drive which didn't help.

Eventually I had to rebuy the disc. Then it worked first try.

I think I may need to rebuy Top Gun also which thankfully is much cheaper. I'll definitely examine discs AS SOON AS I GET THEM going forward.

Anyone have the US version from Best Buy working? I got 59 read errors... Fun fun. Getting ready to return the disk and try a diff copy.

errors are different than not opening the disc
clean the disc
get new disc
clean drive
get BU40N
lot of those defective WH16NS60s around

Maybe I should have posted in a different thread then.

The drive is fine, the 25 other UHDs I ripped recently all were fine. Maybe this drive can't do this disk or ... The disc and the replacement were both immaculate, 50+ read errors on both.

I'll just return it and buy a blu ray version cheap. The time cost alone is more than the price I paid for the movie.

Maybe the 25 others were not bd 100s like this movie is.
Some drives only have problems with bd100s
I have had drive that would rip every bd 66 I had then get read errors on a bd 100
