Strange subtitle position

Post by Bootstrap »

Hi people!

I have my Blu-ray rip from "The Godfather " and everything seemed to go smoothly. However, when I load the subtitle of the mkv the subtitle is appearing in a very strange place: on the top left.

Is there any way to resolve this situation?

@Bootstrap

Hi!

Was your source material for your rip an original, commercial Blu-ray disc or, perhaps, a 720p conversion?

I installed VLC and running the movie through it the subtitles were in the right place!

This problem is a known incompatibility with Windows Media Center?

I just created the mkv without any compression, directy the blu-ray, is a straightforward conversion (with all the tens of GB original)
