Unable to flash BU40N, please advise

Hi All, I purchased a slim BU40N from amazon, I used an old slim dvd caddie and tried to flash using the sdftool, it appeard to work ok but did not seem to change the firmware, i thought it may have been the caddie so swapped it for the drive un my laptop, same thing.

Fixed, I needed to tick the "enc?" box, all working now.

Just wondering what steps you took to flash your drive? I have the same model and i'm unsure of how to find the correct MK firmware to flash. Did you just flash the one firmware from the all you need pack?

yes all you need to do is as the guide says use enc if you have 1.04 with the bu40n 1.03 from the all you need pack
