MakeMKV would like access to files on a removable volume

I got one of the new M1 iMacs and when I run MakeMKV on this machine, i get this OS popup every single time i rip a disc. Is there some way to give MakeMKV permanent access to removable media or do I have to keep clicking "OK" on this every single time it pops up? MakeMKV already appears in the Security & Privacy system prefs pane with "removable volumes" checked.

I have an issue that with this pop up since upgrading to Monterey. Every time I open makeMKV it asks multiple times to access removable drives. Sometimes I forget to hit ok so the app will crash.

I just upgraded to a Mac with M1 Ultra and I am also getting this popup. Privacy settings are already set to allow access to "Removable Volumes" (and Documents Folder) but the pop-up happens with each disk RIP.

The destination folder for the RIP is on the internal drive, so I suspect the request is for the Bluray drive or the disc volume. Strangely, MakeMKV is adding additional entries for each request.

Using MakeMKV 1.16.7 [Darwin(arm64-release)] with an LG WH16NS60 (external USB-3) drive.
MacOS Monterey 12.3.1

System Settings / Privacy & Security / Full Disk Access -- enable for MakeMKV
