How to get menus when ripping on Macos

#1 Post by rustyowens » Fri May 28, 2021 11:33 pm

I just got a Mac Mini I am using as a Plex server. I have an LG External Blu Ray writer and I am trying to rip a blu ray. Is there a way to have the menus when I play the movies?

Rip to an unencrypted "backup" (doesn't work with DVDs), and use a player comparable with unencrypted BD file structures.

Not sure if Plex will allow you to share it as a BD, but it is as close as you'll get.

Plex does not support the playback of disk images any longer (this support was removed almost a decade ago), so you cannot have disk-menus when watching a movie through Plex.
