LG-WH16NS60 libre drive. So far I have ripped 1000+ discs (mainly 4K UHD) and this is one amongst the dozen that has failed. This is even more painful as it happens towards the end where it says 10 seconds remaining. The rest failed right off the bat.

LG-WH16NS60 libre drive. So far I have ripped 1000+ discs (mainly 4K UHD) and this is one amongst the dozen that has failed. This is even more painful as it happens towards the end when it says 10 seconds remaining. The rest failed right off the bat.

Well your probably just going to have to get another set and if it still don't work clean the laser or get a BU40N if you look back through here you will see many found the BU40N works better on these discs

If the UHD's are the same as the blu-rays, you need to tick the forced subs option for your preferred language and for many episodes makemkv will then dump out a separate sub track. Depending on your player, you may need to set a forced sub tag via mkvtoolnix GUI. The blu-rays are unusual in that the forced subs are embedded in the main sub track, whereas most releases have forced subs in a separate track.

What error are you getting time out on logical unit or hash errors
