how to convert bluray to iso?

I would like to convert an encrypted bluray disc into an identical decrypted iso file with menu and all. basically i want to play this iso file and have it act just as the blu ray would. i have all the programs such as makermkv, handbrake, imgburn, and infrarecorder but i just dont know how to make them all work together. There is another post about this but the instuctions were very unspecific / confusing. any help please?

Make an unencrypted backup with MakeMKV.

Use Bluray authoring software to convert that to a burnable ISO.

Note that most software that could play an ISO file can also play backups across the network from a server. The effort to create the ISO would seem to be wasted.

Is burning from ISO even necessary? I have blu rays I backed up and just burned the files to disc and they work in my Oppo.
