MakeMKV freezes if explorer is opened

Hi, I'm using Windows 10 Pro and an LG BU40N portable UHD player with custom firmware.

If I open My Computer or insert an SD card, MakeMKV stops reading the disc and doesn't start again.

Is that the normal way the program works?

No, it is not. However, depending on your Explorer settings, it may be taking control of the drive away from MakeMKV as it enumerates what changed in the system. Theory says it should give control back, but MakeMKV might time out while waiting. It gets worse if any of your devices are slow to respond... Like a network share that isn't there anymore.

It only occurs for 4K UHD discs.
