What procedure did you use? I have the same drive with 1.05. Thanks!

I just picked one up and am trying to figure out what firmware to flash to it. I have been following this guide: viewtopic.php?t=19928 But since that is talking about a different drive I am a bit lost on which firmware to actually flash to it. Thank you for any help.

Please don't follow that guide it has unnecessary steps.

Billycar11 goes to great lengths to keep the Ultimate UHD Drives Flashing Guide Updated 2021 up to date with all the current wisdom. The guide you are following is older & may miss some important details.

See section Recommended Firmware to flash for MakeMKV: to determine FW you want.

When you read further to section Newer OEM Firmwares and encrypted:, you may find that your current FW (what the drive came with.. v1.05?) is encrypted, requiring you to use the SDFtool Flasher with 'enc' checked for the 1st flash. The procedure in the 1st post includes download links & procedure.
