Hello,
I have a Problem with the drive - It says there isn't a disc in the drive.
I already tried to flash it, this worked without failure messages - but the result is still the same. what am I missing here?

Operating system or the drive is not finding the necessary information on the disk to determine that there is a disk in the drive. Flashing won't fix this, unless you are testing a UHD disk before flashing.

Start with a different disk. Still nothing?

yes, still nothing, no matter what kind of disc i use. just tested with an audio cd. in a different drive, this cd works well.
perhaps the drive is broken? I remember some strange noise some days ago.
I bought it in december. perhaps i should just send it back and get a new one?

Definitely broken if Windows can't even see a CD in it.

But what is the build date says on the top if your drive is older than 2015 you bricked it
