Use the Kodi DV build and it will do all framerates correctly.RESET_9999 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 16, 2021 9:59 pmmmm... I just got my Ugoos and very bad news: there's no 23.976 mode, only 24hz.
99% of movies are 23.976, so this device is useless. I hope I can return it...
FYI, playing 23.976 content in 24hz = dropped/repeated frames every 42seconds.
thanks, will try that...mattmarsden wrote: ↑Tue Mar 16, 2021 11:09 pm

EDIT: yep 23.976 works with kodi .. phew!
LOL
Wow, that's fantastic! I need to try that too! BTW, I see you got a Ugoos delivered. Are you able to confirm that it in fact supports the FEL titles and plays it correctly?RESET_9999 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 17, 2021 1:15 amthis is not UGOOS related but I just learned that if you remux DV to bluray folder structure with tsMuxer and you put the files in the root of an USB drive, the Sony x700 is able to play it in dolby vision with chapters, working FF RW for long movies and no more green screen bug when you stop playback.
That's awesome!RESET_9999 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 17, 2021 1:15 amthis is not UGOOS related but I just learned that if you remux DV to bluray folder structure with tsMuxer and you put the files in the root of an USB drive, the Sony x700 is able to play it in dolby vision with chapters, working FF RW for long movies and no more green screen bug when you stop playback.
It's definitely processing the FEL as @mattmarsden confirmed. The Power Rangers ending credits is bright white and because I fast-forwarded, it kind of froze and it caused ghosting. I clearly saw the grey HDR10 BL and the EL on top of it.
you drag and drop the correct mpls file into tsmuxer and create a new bluray structure.deadchip12 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 17, 2021 2:15 amWhat if the movie is already in bdmv structure, then which files do we put in tsmuxer?
