Use the Kodi DV build and it will do all framerates correctly.RESET_9999 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 16, 2021 9:59 pmmmm... I just got my Ugoos and very bad news: there's no 23.976 mode, only 24hz.
99% of movies are 23.976, so this device is useless. I hope I can return it...
FYI, playing 23.976 content in 24hz = dropped/repeated frames every 42seconds.

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
this is not UGOOS related but I just learned that if you remux DV to bluray folder structure with tsMuxer and you put the files in the root of an USB drive, the Sony x700 is able to play it in dolby vision with chapters, working FF RW for long movies and no more green screen bug when you stop playback.

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
Wow, that's fantastic! I need to try that too! BTW, I see you got a Ugoos delivered. Are you able to confirm that it in fact supports the FEL titles and plays it correctly?RESET_9999 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 17, 2021 1:15 amthis is not UGOOS related but I just learned that if you remux DV to bluray folder structure with tsMuxer and you put the files in the root of an USB drive, the Sony x700 is able to play it in dolby vision with chapters, working FF RW for long movies and no more green screen bug when you stop playback.

It's definitely processing the FEL as @mattmarsden confirmed. The Power Rangers ending credits is bright white and because I fast-forwarded, it kind of froze and it caused ghosting. I clearly saw the grey HDR10 BL and the EL on top of it.
At first, playback was not very stable but now Power rangers is playing for an hour and everything looks stable.
I'll have a deeper look at the colors on my OLED tomorrow. it looks very promising.

you drag and drop the correct mpls file into tsmuxer and create a new bluray structure.deadchip12 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 17, 2021 2:15 amWhat if the movie is already in bdmv structure, then which files do we put in tsmuxer?

Which Ugoos device are we purchasing?
Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
You can just use the decrypted original folder back, too, then without any extra remuxing, no? Any way to possibly do this over the network or USB only?RESET_9999 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 17, 2021 2:32 amyou drag and drop the correct mpls file into tsmuxer and create a new bluray structure.deadchip12 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 17, 2021 2:15 amWhat if the movie is already in bdmv structure, then which files do we put in tsmuxer?
Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
Can confirm it works and it's awesome to have an untouched blu-ray folder structure! I tested with Mission Impossible Fallout and it worked perfectly with no hiccups or freezes. FF, chapters, and everything else are smooth and super fast! Great discovery!deadchip12 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 17, 2021 2:33 amAwesome. Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
I tried Mission Impossible Fallout with the remuxing method and it worked perfectly. But now that you mentioned this, I am wondering if what you are saying can also work. It seems easier to drag and drop a decrypted folder versus going through Tsmuxer.shawnc22 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 17, 2021 2:54 amYou can just use the decrypted original folder back, too, then without any extra remuxing, no?
