Ok thanks, well as far as I know, LLDV if it's well made doesn't have to be worst than TV-LED.
The quality I observe in FEL files playback is really good, but I don't have any reference to compare with.
Most people I have come across with LG OLED prefer TV led, myself included.
Did you test the scene in Total Recall?
Thanks for your answer, yes I know what you said, but is possible a LLDV without notice the difference.
I read about the test of the scene of Total Recall. I would like to pass it but I don't have this film in DV. Wich version is it? the original film of 1990 or the remake of 2012?.
You know if there is any cut of the concrete scene so I could test it?
And Profile 7 STDL ts is working too (left out of the list).
Could you tell me what your Plex settings are as I can’t get it to play STDL mkv. Thanks
I didn't have to set anything on it.
Can you please detail what your playback setup is again? I think you mentioned you're using Ugoos AM6 Plus player and are using Plex, is that correct? And you're having no issues with DV MKV playback along with the other formats you listed?
Also, is Dolby Atmos and other lossless formats still triggered using this player?

Watch the youtube video I posted. LLDV is confirmed to be worse quality than TV-LED DV. And all the players have the same DV SDK engine, therefore they are all affected by that. Stacey Spears goes even further and says that LLDV is worse than HDR10.
Someone mentioned that the red tint when playing DV on the nvidia shield is caused when playbacking on a Hisense TV. Anyone knows if the red tint bug appears on other TVs like the LG CX?

there's nothing more I can do. the Dune just doesn't like the fabricated FEL test file.
Anyway, we'll know soon if it can do FEL, @Manixx2020beyound will verify it with the Shogun.
Someone with knowledge should just create a excel list of BluRay players or Media players that support Dolby Vision with or without FEL and with or without bugs, and if it's TV-led etc. There's a lot of questions going around that'd get resolved that way.
