-Hi there:
Could you provide me with the links to the latest version of
-python
-mp4muxer
and the one that brings everything incorporated including FFmpeg (The version that a user made that brings everything together.)
Thank you very much.

My PUS7304 (a TV with android) has the same problem when I play a FEL movie converted to mp4 with dvdfab, but If I play a MEL movie It fixes. If you use yusesope FEL to MEL tool that doesn't happen.RESET_9999 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 29, 2021 5:22 pmyeah, the TS/M2TS files created by tsMuxer have a bug.kws53 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 29, 2021 5:17 pmThanks. So - Latest TSMuxer release (JustDan) is the perfect way to go creating DT DL P7.
Final question - your signature refers to a .TS file from DolbyLabs (I downloaded) and you refer to it "fixing" a DL problem on the x700? I'm confused based on what you say above...
When you stop playback of a DT-DL TS file, the next file you play will have a green or purple tint on it. The x700 and the Oppo somehow get locked in that mode and only(besides rebooting) playing the TS demo file in my signature will unlock the player. I think playing back an original UHD-BD should unlock the player as well.

Can you create a working DTDL ISO file for this guy?

I tried to do it with tsmuxer from the dtdl mp4 file, but it only plays in lite mode on Dune.

Hi, you can try the ISO I made for the mkvtoolnix guy when they implemented DV in mastroka.NiCE77 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 06, 2021 8:58 amHi,

but didn't they already test DV ISO playback?

Thanks, but I need the same FEL test video like this, but in ISO: https://www.makemkv.com/forum/viewtopic ... 00#p104113RESET_9999 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 06, 2021 2:58 pmHi, you can try the ISO I made for the mkvtoolnix guy when they implemented DV in mastroka.NiCE77 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 06, 2021 8:58 amHi,

since you already tried to remux it with tsmuxer, there's nothing more I can do.
So I assume my fel test mp4 does not play on the Dune player? Maybe it just doesn't support FEL after all because the sample works on fel capable devices( x700 and C8). they should try a genuine DL MEL mp4
it's still early but the Dune does not look promising anymore for FEL support.

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
Is the x700 able to play mp4 files that contain DD+ ac3 dolby atmos track?

This is the result on Dune:RESET_9999 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 06, 2021 9:47 pmha I see.NiCE77 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 06, 2021 7:25 pm

- 'test DT DL FEL.iso' (remux with tsmuxer from DTDL mp4) plays fine in HDR if you use the 'Play (Lite)' option. If you use 'Play (Menu)', as in full menu options, the image is very jittery and pixelated, but switch the output to DV!
- 'test DT DL FEL.mp4' plays, switch the output to DV, however just looks like white noise on screen.
- 'test ST DL FEL.mp4' plays as HDR.
- 'test SL P8 RPU.ts' plays as DV.
But all of original, untouched FEL/MEL DTDL ISO files plays fine as DV!

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
Question: Is there any quality difference if you encode the same file in Profile 4 vs. 5? My TV only supports 4 and 5 AFAIK. I note that Profile 4 still contains an HDR10 track so I can play it anywhere, but I can only play the Profile 5 file on my TV. Is there any quality improvement in Profile 5? The filesize is the same regardless of profile, but I wonder if the TV decodes it differently.
Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
Say.. if your TV's Internal Player can play DTDL MP4/TS, STDL MP4/TS
Which one should be given first preference?
It is also possible to add Atmos/DTS audio by extracting the audio as an MP4 file via mkvtoolnix.. so the DTDL mp4 files can also have lossless audio
I am more concerned about the Picture Quality

yes, but subtitles don't work in MP4 so , just remux with tsmuxer.deadchip12 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 07, 2021 5:50 amIs the x700 able to play mp4 files that contain DD+ ac3 dolby atmos track?

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
They are both the wrong profile for an HDR10 base layer so the output might not be accurate.tr000 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 07, 2021 10:45 amQuestion: Is there any quality difference if you encode the same file in Profile 4 vs. 5? p4 is a dual-layer profile and p5 is single layer... so if the source is FEL and your TV support it, p4 will be better even if it's the wrong profile for HDR10 BL.
Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
Thanks, I'll use Profile 4 then. I saw in the DV docs that Profile 4 is supposed to have an SDR base layer, but the Profile 4 file played on a regular HDR display looks the same to me as playing that HDR10 HEVC track by itself, so no harm done, I suppose.RESET_9999 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 07, 2021 2:39 pmThey are both the wrong profile for an HDR10 base layer so the output might not be accurate.
