I have successfully used 1.15.4 on a M1 MacBook Air with Big Sur 11.1.

"Working on" and "optimized for" are two different things. Even if the Intel emulation on the M1 isn't super fast, it is fast enough to run MakeMKV.

So MakeMKV works on Apple`s M1 CPU too? Maybe it`s a mistake? I heard only a special software optimized for Apple M1. Maybe you talking about Intel i3 in Macbooks 2019 ?

I can assure you, MirandaJO98, that I have one of the new M1, 8-core CPU + 8-core GPU MacBook Airs from the end of 2020 (I do not have the 7-core GPU model). MakeMKV runs using Apple's Rosetta 2 technology. https://www.computerworld.com/article/3 ... -macs.html
