I need to be shown an example use of the tokens for manual mode.. The image below is a DVD I am working with and MAKEMKV does not read the disk correctly in regular mode.
Typing the title number alone does not work, as the documentation says it as the same as if were ripping without using manual mode. I am guessing that the DVD is presenting these as fake titles, so, they get skipped.
I was able to get the first two titles to rip by entering the following "3:1-2:@2". However, I am not quite sure of the syntax to get the other two. If someone could show the correct syntax I would be ecstatic. If all 4 titles could be extracted in one pass, that would be great too. The longer title 11 is just all 4 titles as one long movie.. (this is a TV series)
Manual Mode Token Syntax
Re: Manual Mode Token Syntax
Well, I solved my problem.. It seems this was an issue with fake titles and MakeMKV failed to resolve this, so, I was able to do the rip via Handbrake using the the CSS library DLL from VLC.
I still think that an example using the syntax would benefit, other than what is available in the help..

Re: Manual Mode Token Syntax
Agreed some help with Syntaxes would be helpful. I have a disc with 6 episodes that just shows 2. When I look to open manually I have the following:
Title information
1: 1/1 - 5 chapter(s) 0:22:04 5 cell(s)
2: 1/2 - 5 chapter(s) 0:22:04 5 cell(s)
3: 1/3 - 5 chapter(s) 0:22:04 5 cell(s)
4: 1/4 - 5 chapter(s) 0:22:04 5 cell(s)
5: 1/5 - 5 chapter(s) 0:22:04 5 cell(s)
6: 1/6 - 5 chapter(s) 0:22:04 5 cell(s)
7: 1/7 - 25 chapter(s) 2:12:23 25 cell(s)
8: 1/8 - 5 chapter(s) 0:00:02 5 cell(s)
9: 1/9 - 2 chapter(s) 0:06:10 2 cell(s)
All I am looking to do is extract the first 6 titles. I tried
1:1-5:@6 but it just extracts the first chapter.
Any help appreciated
Thanks

Re: Manual Mode Token Syntax
As an update to this for newbies who don't understand the syntaxes, I achieved it by manually adding the titles one at a time. Literally just put title number in the string, nothing else.
I played about with the syntax to try and do all six together. Tried
1 2 3 4 5 6
1-2-3-4-5-6
Doing that just identified one title. Could not get them all done at once. Would be good if someone in the know could advise
Thanks

Re: Manual Mode Token Syntax
Are you using 1.16.3? There was a bug in earlier versions of 1.16. viewtopic.php?f=1&t=24707
Here's the documentation for Manual DVD Mode: http://makemkv.com/manualdvd/
