What type of uhd Tv is the tv-led dv ?
Sorry but oppo don’t look that good to me.
X700 takes it all lol.
top picture is from the Vincent video ??
it's related to the metadata.. If i remember correctly , the combination of Mastering display luminance 1000 nits and P3 color causes the green screen issue on 2016 OLED LG TVs. The solution is an external player like the x700, the shield or FirestickTV.
I don't think so... Vincent said he tested the Panasonic bluray player as well.Manixx2020beyound wrote: ↑Sat Dec 26, 2020 3:09 pm

I just acquired a Sony UBP-x800M2 and it can play m2ts (BDMV folders aren't supported) DV remuxes created by tsMuxeR over the network (albeit via DLNA only - I'm using built in DLNA app on my Synology NASes to serve up content to the X800M2).shawnc22 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 23, 2020 9:16 amFrom network? The oppo and that's it.MastaG wrote: ↑Wed Dec 23, 2020 9:12 amSo which players are capable of playing FEL remuxes from network sources (Plex/Emby/SMB), e.g. the full deal retaining the 12bit 4000nits final picture like when playing the original disc?
e.g. remuxed into a TS or MKV container so I can add a high def audio track?
Does it have 100mbit Ethernet though? That will be too slow for some titles. X700 I believe is the same.glc650 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 26, 2020 7:14 pmI just acquired a Sony UBP-x800M2 and it can play m2ts (BDMV folders aren't supported) DV remuxes created by TSmuxeR over the network (albeit via DLNA only - I'm using built in DLNA app on my Synology NASes to serve up content to the X800M2).shawnc22 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 23, 2020 9:16 amFrom network? It does, but it also supports 802.11ac (WiFi 5) albeit only 1x1 but that's still enough to get me well over 100mbps (connected to my UAP-AC-HD at ~300 or higher every time I've checked).PlatypusW wrote: ↑Sat Dec 26, 2020 7:15 pmDoes it have 100mbit Ethernet though? shield image has incorrect hue/saturation on the beak (compared to tv-led), besides the color artifacts/clipping
Ive always found the output from the Oppo to be very Natural and not over saturated,is that not what we are looking for? That’s certainly what I see in your pic.lexyz wrote: ↑Sun Dec 27, 2020 6:12 amGuys, don't compare hue sharpness, brightness or clipping
I can't set my camera and TV to match Vincent's
Do not make conclusion about this parameters
Only thing to look at is the shape of yellow spot
Zoom in if you're on mobile.
Can't you see the similarities and differences?
Have you checked with your HDFury device to see if the x700 is allowing TV led Dolby Vision?RESET_9999 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 26, 2020 5:18 pmI don't think so... Vincent said he tested the Panasonic bluray player as well.Manixx2020beyound wrote: ↑Sat Dec 26, 2020 3:09 pm

Also, Stacey Spears (creator of Spears and Munsil) confirmed that all the bluray players will have this issue when doing player-led DV.
EDIT: Also it sounds like @pete was right about FEL being 422, or Don't I understand whats Stacey is saying ?
The difference is OPPO lets you force one over the other while the others use EDID in the display to decide which mode to use.
Yes, the x700 support both DV format. My Vertex report RGB 8bit (tv-led).
Finally got my x700RESET_9999 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 27, 2020 10:40 pmYes, the x700 support both DV format. My Vertex report RGB 8bit (tv-led).
