Features Request: Output Folder

#1 Post by busthead » Fri Dec 25, 2020 9:15 pm

Am I the only person copying the DVD Name from the Info box and appending it to Output folder path?

Please add these features:

1. Auto stripping of white space at the end of the Output folder path - rather than throwing an error and associated dialogue.
2. A config option auto-create folder and suppress the "...does not exist. Do you want to create it?" dialogue.

Thx

How do you have your Preferences->Video page set up?

Custom pretty much means you plan on providing everything after the default path.

Semi-automatic will use the disk name as a directory name, added to the default path.

Any way to suppress the "Directory...does not exist. Do you want to create it?" dialogue?

Probably not... I can think of several good reasons not to, one of which being that you can ask MakeMKV to create directories (and files) that have leading or trailing spaces, which are a real pain to remove when you discover them later.
