TENET UHD RB - Failed to open disk

Just a follow up to previous posters method to save TENET as encoded then use MakeMKV to read the backed up encoded file. No joy for RB version same error as with the live disc...

Opening files on harddrive at /Volumes/Random Files/TENET
Loaded content hash table, will verify integrity of M2TS files.
Saved AACS dump file as /Volumes/Random Files/BluRay Images/MKB20_v76_Tenet_A470.tgz
The volume key is unknown for this disc - video can't be decrypted

The dump was previously submitted, so I won't send it a second time.

I'm not sure what you were expecting? It can't be decrypted until the key is added, regardless of whether it's a disc, encrypted folder, or encrypted ISO. Making an encrypted backup doesn't change that.

As you say, that one has been submitted before. I also assumed (I don't know for sure) it was the key that had been added already. Are you sure you have Enable Internet Access enabled in preferences? Can you resolve the required domain name to get keys?

That is the same file dump that I have and it does not work yet. I have deleted the key file to force a download too.

That makes sense. Probably should be posting the generated filename when we post that we've sent a dump just so people can see if theirs has been submitted or not. Just a thought.

Yeah, I appreciated it in this thread. Knew right away there was no need to submit my dump (read that out of context) again. Can't imagine multiple submissions for the same disc accelerate the process. Poor Mike drowning in Tenet.

I use my main rig for nothing but number crunching normally, and would like to offer to help if it is doable.

I sent him a message a while ago asking if I could donate some parts that I had to spare or money for parts to support what he does if the reason it took so long was old hardware, but never heard back. I figure he is great to us, we should give back when we can.
