Shockingly it says mine is out for delivery this morning. That would be nice. I'd love to watch it tonight. Hopefully the keys get released soon.

For read errors make sure you microfiber clean the disc even if it "looks" clean. And if you're still getting read errors after that you can try to use speed control and slow down the drive to 2x.

How recently have you tried it?

I just got Tenet today from Target (in the USA). I ripped it using 15.4 with no errors, which is a surprise because I usually see A/V duplicate frame or overlapping issues.
I was surprised this one showed zero issues. I checked the resulting .mkv file, and it looks golden (no apparent mastering errors or anything).

Perhaps yours has a different key than mine.
I purchased mine at Best Buy, and have tried to rip it on three different occasions.

I downloaded the 15.4 update after the first two times. The second time got close to the end before there was some error, and MakeMKV closed on its own. The first and third time, I got this:

Saving 1 titles into directory E:/Video/Tenet UHD

Getting the same error (different offset). Based on prior experience, I was able to successfully do the 1080p disc and then retried the 4K disc. Still no luck. I thought it may be a bad disc; but from what others are posting, it may be something else.

whoa! I've never seen that specific error before. I believe you and hope it starts working for you soon.

I still can't open the disk. Nothing yet has changed.

I also am getting the "Scsi error - ILLEGAL REQUEST:INVALID FIELD IN CDB" error. I get about 47gb copied and then the error. Multiple tries, cleaned the disc really well.

Is mine considered a read error? Sorry, I wasn't sure who you were referring to (I guess since mine are I/O, then maybe you were).

And I've never found a disc that I couldn't boil and at least solve some issues that way, but I've never done such a thing with a UHD. If all else fails, do you think that could work? (for those who aren't aware of this method, it's real, tried, and proven)

So uh... I just got rid of the "OK" prompt, but after boiling my disc on a whim, it ripped successfully!

(again, if you don't know the method, don't do it without knowing what the heck I'm talking about haha... you'll just melt your disc )

I was having the same issue, where I couldn't load the 4K disk, but I saw the post from Fearless Leader mentioning that the opening the disk worked for him while using version 15.4. I checked my version and mine was 15.0, so I updated and it worked after that.

I'm still waiting for fedex. But as soon as it arrives, into the bu40n it goes.

I do have one UHD that I can't read due to a very deep scratch but it's been that way since I got it (one of the harry potter discs). I do have a plan to repair it (just want to get it read once so I can get it on the NAS with the rest of them) but it does not include boiling. :D

EDIT: And just like that their ears must have been burning. Fexed has arrived. :)
