Drag and drop

#1 Post by Knocks » Thu Jan 22, 2015 12:54 am

Would it be possible for you to add drag and drop support to MakeMKV? My VIDEO_TS folders are all in different directories across different drives, and it would be much easier to drop an IFO file into MakeMKV than browse to each one internally.

It would be similar to how mkvmerge works. I've always liked its interface and found it a treat to use.

I second this.

A slight improvement would be to allow drag-and-dropping multiple directories, each with a bluray or dvd structure. The output files would be numbered sequentially (titlexxxx.mkv) based on the alphabetical ordering of the folder names *or* be based on the folder names.

Please add drag-and-drop of IFO files!

Hello. It's been 5 years since the original post. Drag and drop would be a serious UX improvement.

Also, when you right-click a VIDEO_TS.IFO file and open it with MakeMKV, the program should launch with that disc open instead of a blank state.
