Hey guys,
Just a quick question. I use MakeMKV all the time and want to provide as much info that would help improve the program as possible. I am familiar with the procedure of submitting the .tgz file to MakeMKV when a movie wont RIP (usually a UHD Disk) but occasionally MakeMKV will generate a .tgz file for movies that rip successfully. I'm not sure why this happens. Should I be submitting these as well?
Thanks
JM
.TGZ Files for movies that complete successfully
Re: .TGZ Files for movies that complete successfully
If it completes successfully, there usually would be no reason to submit it.
MakeMKV will generate a .tgz file if the version of AACS is higher than any previous disk. And you can tell it to always generate a .tgz for disks with BD+ protection.
