Spider Man (2002)

I'm having troubles ripping the Spider Man (2002) DVD. I've ripped about 400 DVD discs and this is the only one giving me grief.

It gives me a message that the main feature title was skipped due to navigation error. I've checked the disc's surface, and it's in top condition, no visible scratches or smudges whatsoever.

I've tried three different drives, and gives me the same error on each.

Is there something that can be done to remedy this?

I didn't have an issue with this one (Widescreen Special Edition from Canada, although I figured DVDs were more commonly the same in North America compared to Blu-rays now), although mine is 40 cells and 14511 VOBUs.

Have you tried checking the box "Open DVD manually" and then opening the disc?

I have the same problem. The same disc and navigation error. I checked the disc condition, and dvd drive. All good, but still not working on MakeMKV. Finally, I moved to WinX DVD Ripper. It was ripped successfully and smoothly.

So, no mkv solution yet? I like the format of mkv files. I didn't want to use a different program. I don't understand what is different about this one movie. I've backed up over 800 of my other movies & this one just isn't ripping. mkv is fantastic, but this one is giving me a hard time.

Navigation error continues. I've played it in vlc, Checked the Title & Chapters. I am using 1:1-28 through the iso file. I've tried auto open, manual open. The disc plays fine. What is the trick?

I've put it in my Vudu library now (from the disc), but I would really like to have it on my harddrive too.
