PowerDvd and Procmon gave me the same as the guy posted above for the redbox version. I thought it was 00437 but it is definitely wrong as the ending is out of order. It seems 00721 correct. However, I am now confused as to how to figure this out on my own!?

I can look in my log file when I get home from work, but I'm pretty sure 437, 003, and 286 are transition segments. They are very brief in time and 503, for me at least, takes me to the end of the credits which is all I need.

With obsfucation over the last few years, there have been many different results regarding which title works for who. Once, it was retailers all had different titles, but now I'm finding that even two disks bought from the same source may differ in the correct title. The only guarantee is matching the right segment map. I haven't yet found segment maps that differ across disks even if the resulting title does.

If you find it yourself, pay attention to what the movie is doing and when. Don't just let it run and come back to the ProcMon some time later. I will typically fast forward ~8x thru the movie in one corner of my screen and keep ProcMon running on the other side. This allows me to catch when questionable segments are linked to unrequired material such as warnings, menus, and whatnot.

I'm not sure if this helps. But I tried.

I have an amazon disk (1 disk) UPC 0 31398 22406 8

If the three I'm seeing are correct, this one looks good on mpls 407.

Haven't watched it yet for errors.

407.mpls

510,509,506,502,504,508,505,511,501,507,503

Has anyone figured out the correct segment map for the 3 disc US Amazon retail version (3D Blu-ray, Blu-ray, DVD) yet? At this point, I'm only interested in the standard 2D Blu-ray (disc 2) of the set. The UPC code is 0-31398-22544-7-80. Thanks.

I've verified that the single disk mpls I ripped above is the correct one. Plays without issue with no gaps or glitches.

I have the single disc retail version from Costco.

Would like to confirm that the correct segment for me was also 510,509,506,502,504,508,505,511,501,507,503

The only difference is that the segment was located in title 83.

I compared the rip and the disc, taking note of chapter length and scenes, everything matched up perfectly.

So I ripped 286 and compared with the movie, about half way through it had the wrong scene. Looking at 437 from above the order does not match early in the movie so that isn't it. 3 is very short and in mpeg2 so I don't know what that is all about. Looks like they figured out a way to trick the PM method. And with hundreds to choose from I'll never find the right one. Now what?

721 is correct for me too. How did you know this was correct?

Some people have BD players that list the files that are opened for each chapter. They also narrow down by play time (many times the lengths all differ). Some also use AnyDVD to get a list of 'valid' MPLS. Sometimes it's a combination of the above. It just takes time and a little help from the community too. If you also have a difficult one, Mike the Admin can also take a look sometimes. It may require that you upload some debugging files though.
