It is an internal drive SATA, I'm currently using windows 10. I did a lot of movies but only 2 gave me problems.

OK, internal SATA eliminates a whole class of problems that external drives can have.

The report of "drive does not exist" usually means that MakeMKV made the request to write to the drive, and the operating system replied, "What drive?" The fact that MakeMKV made the request means it (drive I:) was there at the start of the process, but something happened to make the operating system disconnect from it after some time.

I would check the system events log for any error messages regarding the drives. If you are logged in as administrator, you can click Start, then Run, then type in:

Code: Select all

%windir%\system32\eventvwr.msc /s
The System log is where hardware errors are usually recorded.
