Looks remarkably like the errors you get when the drive draws too much power and momentarily shuts down. A lot of users of USB-powered external drives have this issue when the drive is spun up to full speed, but they work fine when accessing the disk via applications that are "too slow" to run the drive at its full potential.

Is this an external drive? Is it powered by USB?

Yes a LaCie USB 3 ...

All others disks have not had the problem ...

I washed it and then dried it very carefully and was able to play it, on the LaCie player, viewing through Blue-Ray Player® software

Thought I had it fixed and started trying to copy ... repeated tries with no success

Just thought I'd ask, I might try cleaning the "reader" in the player ... Thanks ... had forgotten to do that ... it has worked before for me

All other functions work, including the streaming feature ...

This is the only hic-up I've had in transferring the library on to an external drive, thus far

If it's plugged into a blue USB3 port on the computer (or an externally-powered USB3 hub), power SHOULDN'T be a problem... USB3 has higher current available per device than USB2, which is where problems are frequent. With USB2 ports, you often have to use an external power supply OR a two-headed USB cable to get sufficient power to the drive.

Is this the only thing operating on the USB3 bus at the time?

Yes, USB from the "player" into a Mac mini late 2012 ... 8GB ram/1TB HD, connected to an Apple Thunderbolt display using Apples cabling and on the Mac mini Thunderbolt out port that cable goes to a LaCie 3TB by Thunderbolt

The player is the only thing which is USB

The disk may be flawed ... Don't think it's hardware, at this time ... have done over 200 Blue-Ray disk's ... and this has been the only one that didn't go through the processing of the "data"

I just couldn't read the "log" and see anything which I could deciphed

Maybe cheaper and/or easier just to buy another copy ... before going any farther ... LOL

Update 10/28 ... After reading reviews on Amazon, saw there was a problem with some disk's ... order a new disk, got in yesterday ... and have just completed a transfer to .m4v with no problems

Not a hardware nor a software problem (MVK), rather a flawed disk by the mfg. ... smooth sailing
