I'm getting the following messages:

I also tried 1.8.9 and got the same error.

I am running OSX 10.9.3 on a Mac Mini with a USB Blu-Ray. Haven't had issues with any disc up to this point. Thanks!

Make sure the drive has plenty of power. A lot of USB drives "fail" when you spin them up, because they hit the current limit of their USB power supply.

They're fine for playing, but anything that takes them to their maximum speed will cause the drive to disconnect momentarily.

Well I'm 99% sure that I've got enough power to the drive, since I just tried it with the power adapter attached.

Nonetheless, I'm still getting the following error:

What else could be the issue? Bad disc? (Doesn't appear to be scratched and plays just fine.) Like I said, I haven't had any issue with any other discs, even other from this series. Thanks.

Well I've since tried to make a disc image of the disc using the Disk Utility, mainly to test to see if it had the same SCSI error. It did. In fact, it killed my Blu-Ray drive attempting to read the disc. At some point the drive started making an excessive amount of loud noises. I let it go for a couple of minutes or so, thinking, well its doing what its supposed to do and it won't break itself-- anyway, Disc Utility eventually gave a similar error that Make MKV did, unmounted the disc, and ejected it.

Now, my drive tray will not stay closed. If I try to close it, it just pops back open after about 30 seconds, regardless of whether there is a disc in there or not. I've tried it with several computers.
