Error on Avengers Assemble

Hi,

this is the first time I'm using MakeMKV and this forum so apologies if I've not adhered to any rules I should have followed.

I'm trying to rip a copy of Avengers Assemble but I get the error below. I've tried several times and always get the same error. When I open the dics I get presented with a number of titles, I select the one that has 19 chapters and is 31.0GB (the largest of them all by some margin) and hit the Make MKV button.

This is running on a new system I've just put together. It's a clean build of Windows 7 with only some drivers for a VFD display and XBMC installed in addition to MakeMKV (plus the required drivers for the MB etc). I've not installed any other CODEC packs or even any additional drivers for the BD drive (perhaps I need to??).

The system is an Intel i3 3225, SSD for system drive and ripping to a 3TB HDD connected internally via a SATA2 connection.

I'm using the latest version (downloaded today) of MakeMKV: 1.7.9

Thanks for any assistance!

The complete log seems to be a little too large to post here but error messages are all the same before this point.

Hi!

Sounds like you have a damaged disc. If so, exchange it at the place of purchase for a new disc...

I wondered that but I've watched it at least three times and never noticed any problems with it.

I'll try out another couple of disks in my collection and see what results I get.

But have you watched it by playing it on your computer, using the same reader/burner that you used to try to rip your original, commercial disc?

PCs and their reading software are far less forgiving than standalone players regarding what may be "a few bad bits"...

@Caesar

Hi!
LIBMKV_TRACE: Exception: Error while reading input
Likely a dirty or physically damaged disc.

Try cleaning the disc...
