I am getting the following when I try to rip A Christmas Story from Blu-ray:

Saving 1 titles into directory /Volumes/Movies/A_Christmas_Story

LIBMKV_TRACE: Exception: EOF in writeFully
Failed to save title 0 to file /Volumes/Movies/A_Christmas_Story/title00.mkv
0 titles saved, 1 failed

I also get the same message with A Christmas Vacation:

0 titles saved, 1 failed

I tried to disable subtitles and I tried to rip it to ISO and then convert it to mkv file, but neither changed the outcome. Anyone else having this problem?

MakeMKV 1.7.9 on OSX Version 10.7.5

This is an "unknown write error". For some reason MakeMKV can't write output file - no free space, permission problem, or similar.

Mike, I am also now getting this problem with the latest release on The Amazing Spider Man, and I have plenty of space and no permission issues.

There is 913GB available on X, and it is a work disk I use all the time. Makemkv has written 9.9 GB of about 19GB,


This works fine on 1.7.8
