Looks like there are three 37GB files. Which is the correct one?

Title #0 is File 00800.mpls
Title #1 is File 00801.mpls
Title #2 is File 00852.mpls

Hi!

As has been suggested to you by others, regarding several other earlier Blu-ray releases, the most certain way to make this determination is to rip all three and see which is correct for you...

Any update on this? I believe I'm getting the movie for Xmas, and would hate to have to search through three rips to find the right one... kinda ruins the movie to see scenes from it in advance.

I would guess 800. But as setarip_old has suggested before, back up the disc and check the individual parts of the playlist to see which one is the right one.

The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel also cannot be converted properly - as soon as you try to play back the AVI files, you get lots of blocking all over the picture. Shame, as I bought the disk thinking I'd be able to watch it when travelling.

If you're playing an AVI file, there has been something working on the file after MakeMKV... Did you test the MKV file before conversion?

Not specifically. Never had this type of problem before. The disk plays fine (it was brand new), but as I said when playing back the AVI file lots of macro-blocking throughout. Surely this must be a protection issue?

Until/unless you test the MKV file as it is when MakeMKV completes, there is no way to say WHAT is going on. Your software to convert to an AVI may not be compatible with the video CODEC used.
