American Horror Story

I love this program. Easily worth the $50 for Blu Ray functionality. I'm having difficulty backing-up American Horror Story, however, and was wondering if anybody else is having any luck with it.

Thanks in advance for your time/consideration

Hi!
I'm having difficulty backing-up American Horror Story

Please be specific - What is the nature of your problem?

The latest batch of SVQ files seems to have solved it. (prior to this morning, I would get the error message: "Disk Failed To Load."

Thanks for the reply, though, and I apologize for the initial lack of info.

I guess I spoke too soon. Although disc 1 now processes correctly, disc 2 gives me the same error code that disc 1 used to give:

Processing BD+ code using generic SVQ from builtin/00000.svq
Failed to process BD+ code using generic SVQ from builtin/00000.svq
Saved BD+ dump file as /Users/Tom/.MakeMKV/dump_American_Horror_Story__Season_1_Disc_2_DF72F641588092E3.tgz
Failed to process BD+ code, please check http://www.makemkv.com/svq/ for updated program and SVQ files
Failed to open disc

If this is simply a matter of being patient while the encryption is cracked, I can certainly wait. I just wanted to make sure that the problem had been reported. I tried to email the dump file but it's too big, I'm afraid.

This is the standard retail North American version.

Yes, I went to that link, also. Here is what it said:

Starting from version 1.5.8 MakeMKV downloads all required SVQ files automatically - all discs that require disc-specific SVQ should work without any additional steps.

If I'm not mistaken (and that's always a possibility), the program can only automatically upload the SVQs if you have your MakeMKV settings to allow this...

I have the checkbox selected to allow the program to contact the web server for updates. Additionally, it appears that these updates are coming through as the number of SVQ files loading has changed over the last several days. Lastly, Disc 1, which previously failed to load, loaded this morning so I really think it's working.

Apparently, I need to be patient while I wait for an SVQ file for this particular disc. I will also look for a way to email large files so I can send the necessary dump file(s).

My apologies for not including all relevant information in my initial (and even subsequent) emails. I will not waste anybody's time again with the same oversight.

Thank you for taking the time to help me solve this.

I sent the dump files for discs 2 and 3 in through a 3rd party transfer site (too big to email). Hopefully they arrived, and will be helpful.
