I'm tring to make a copy of 2011 Captain America. It has been recording for 2 Hrs and has 4 Hrs to go. It has never taken this long to record a BD. I checked the disc before I put it in and it is clean. I recorded a BD yesterday and there was no problem with my drive. Any ideas on why it would take so long. The drive is reading at 0.2x.

Not all damage can be seen. Try cleaning the disc with a soft cloth, if that doesn't fix it then return it for a new one.

Playing and ripping are not the same thing.
Your drive is having a hard time reading the disc.
Your drive might be failing, or the disc is poorly manufactured / damaged / dirty.

Went and exchanged the disc for a new one and it was the same result. It did rip but took a grand total of 8 hrs 5 mins.

Your drive may be dying, or the shop you purchased from has received a bad batch of discs. I had to return sherlock Holmes 4 times before I got a "good" disc.

Hi! I recorded a BD yesterday and there was no problem with my drive.
Try using the same procedure with the same drive and same disc (that had NO problem) - and see if it now exhibits the same problematic behavior as your "Captain America" disc does/did...

Tried Moneyball this morning and it ripped as expected. No issues and in about 40 minuets. It's not the drive. Captain America just gave me the problem and on two brand new disc's. Weird!
