When attempting to cancel the operation (hitting the red X) it prompts me if I’m sure I want to cancel the current operation and then never cancels. I repeated the cancel operations three times with the same result – program seems hung.

Quitting MakeMKV again asks if I want to cancel the current operation, clicking yes exit the program.

I can view the disk contents in “finder”, while MakeMKV appears hung.

What kind of disc do you have in drive, blu-ray or DVD? What title?
What happens if you start MakeMKV when there is no disc in drive, and then insert the disc?
Did it hang only with this specific disc or with any disc? Or also without any disc in drive?

It is a BluRay disk. Same disk every time, "Dirty Dancing".

Tried:

. Empty Drive
. Start MakeMKV
. Insert BluRay disk
. MakeMKV still hangs reading disk information
