makemkv crash Galdiator 10TH Anniversary Edition

Hello,
i can't rip the Extended Cut from the Gladiator Bluray (german). The cinema stream is ripping to mkv, but on the extended cut, makemkv stand still after approx. 7gb and the file is erased.
I have no other version as 1.7.0 but the crash is on Mac OS X 10.7.2 and Windows XP, i use 2 different BR reader, the br is new, no scratchs.
?? can you help ??
