MakeMKV thinks that I have got another Decrypting Software installed

Hello all,
I tried to use MakeMKV and I have encountered an error on two discs while a third disc works perfectly fine. The discs are clean. However, I have encountered this error I attached as a screenshot. Error handling summary and tried solutions summarized by Gemini:
Error
The Error: You received a warning stating that AnyDVD was running in the background, followed by a process crash with DBG ASSERT errors.
Verification: We confirmed via the Windows Registry and the command line (sc query anydvd) that no AnyDVD software or service is installed on your system.
Conclusion: The warning is a "false positive" triggered by the complex structure of the Dolby Atmos Demo Discs, which confuses MakeMKV's protection-detection logic.

Software & Driver Troubleshooting
Registry Check: We inspected the storage class filters in the Windows Registry to ensure no "ghost drivers" from old installations (like AnyDVD or Passkey) were interfering. The registry was clean.
Service Check: We used the command prompt to verify that no background decryption services were active.
NordVPN Analysis: We discussed the potential impact of NordVPN's Threat Protection, which can interfere with the massive data stream or block the download of decryption keys.
MakeMKV Update: You updated to the latest version (v1.18.3), but the specific DBG ASSERT (code logic) errors persisted for the Demo Discs.

Physical & Hardware Troubleshooting
Drive Analysis: We identified your drive as an LG WH16NS60 with Firmware 1.02. This is a high-end drive, but Demo Discs are notoriously difficult to read due to their high bitrates and non-standard authoring.
Disc Comparison: We confirmed the hardware is working because other discs processed successfully, isolating the problem to the specific 2018 Dolby Atmos discs.
Cleaning: We discussed physical cleaning of the discs to rule out "micro-scratches" or production residues that could trigger the DBG ASSERT during high-speed seeking.

Advanced MakeMKV Workarounds
Debug Logging: We enabled "Debug Logging" to capture the internal ASSERT strings for better diagnosis.
Ignoring the Warning: Since no AnyDVD is present, we proceeded by clicking "Yes" to the warning, though the process still failed later due to logical errors.
Backup Method: We attempted (or suggested) using the "Backup" function (the yellow folder icon) with the "Decrypt" option to copy the entire disc structure to the hard drive first, bypassing the real-time MKV conversion issues.

Thanks and best regards,
Drogon

No need for all that LLM slop, I asked my Magic 8 ball and it said:
"The presence of an 'ANY!' folder in the filesystem root of a burnt, copied, or downloaded Blu-ray disc structure indicates to MakeMKV that a disc has previously been processed by AnyDVD. See equivalent discussions topics here from the indicated years: 2011,2015, 2022, 2024 etc"

It is frustrating that this LLM nonsense could ever be considered credible diagnostic or troubleshooting information.

Hello,

I have used the LLM for the first Troubleshooting due lack of knowledge within the MKV topic - No need for your sarcasm mate:)

I will look into your topic discussions you have shared. Thank you.
