Fullmetal Alchemist (classic) The Complete Series on Blu-ray Disc 5 No Japanese Audio Tracks

Hey,

To preface this, this is NOT the same issue in the topic from August 2023 where the guy needed to separate the audio/japanese tracks from the Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood Complete Series. I have the 6 disc Fullmetal Alchemist classic complete set, not the Brotherhood set he's talking about (i have the 14 disc limited edition boxes of that lol).

Basically there are 51 Episodes across 6 blu-ray discs, each with two English 5.1 tracks and 2 Japanese stereo tracks (and 2 english subtitle tracks). For whatever reason, Disc 5 is throwing up a bunch of errors when i open/decrypt it and when you extract the episodes, everything appears to be intact except the Japanese stereo audio tracks are missing. The english 5.1 audio and subtitle tracks are there, but no japanese audio tracks available. All the audio tracks are extracted properly from all the other episodes on Discs 1 - 4 & 6. The episodes that i pulled from Disc 5 all work properly- there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with them, other than the japanese audio is missing. The japanese audio works just fine if you play the disc in a blu-ray player, so something is definitely getting 'lost in translation' as makemkv decrypts/extracts/whatever it.

i was trying to attach the log file but its saying the board has reached it's attachment quota or something lol. it's WAY too big to copy/paste here so i'm not sure what i can provide.

thanks

Update:

I had already made a BDMV backup of the disc so i can mess with it without needing the actual blu-ray disc anymore; I used BDinfo to pull the track info and used EAC3TO to extract the japanese audio tracks, then used mkvtoolnix to add them as tracks to the episodes.

Well that was the plan, anyway- i did this for the first episode, and while it starts off working as normal, the subtitles quickly get de-synced from the video; about a minute in you start noticing the audio is starting to come ahead of the video, and the delay increases as the video goes on. the audio track runs out a full minute earlier than the video track ends.

i have absolutely no idea what to do here or how to fix this.
