Trying to copy BD of Rango results in error:
This disc uses newer version of AACS protection. Please let us know about it by visiting

The volume key is unknown for this disc - video can't be decrypted
Failed to open disc
When I also try and make a backup this also fails with no error. Any ideas?

are you using the latest version of makemkv? (1.6.14)

Yes I am using the latest version. It appears to read some files but then gets stuck 3/4 through and errors out.

I don't make whole BD copies, so I don't know if that is a problem or not for this disc, but I was able to make a movie only backup without a problem.

When you start MakeMKV, what version of AACS is shown in "protection" line?

Ditto here with 1.6.14. Must be a disc problem.

I wonder if something broke. I ripped it on 7/18 with no problems. not sure what version makemkv was then.
