I was very surprised when neither of the new movies I bought would rip with MakeMKV: Snowden, and Spotlight. Both are "Shout Select" movies, so must use the same type of protection. This happens so rarely...

I saved the AACS dump files for both and submitted them to support via email; how long does it typically take to integrate the dump files into the next decryption file? Days? Weeks? Months?

I got two separate copies of the Shout Select 4K version of Spotlight. Neither worked. They did not even give me a AACS dump my drive just spun for a while and eventually said there was "No disk". Guess I need to get a third copy.

Well that's not encouraging. I did send in the dump files...which I hope means these discs will eventually be supported?

Third disc worked fine. I am getting worried my drive it dying or something. Wish I knew there was a drive shortage earlier.

They updated the decryption as both these discs ripped OK for me this week. Thank you MakeMKV team!
