Death Race 2008 - Garbled Decrypted Backup

Hi All,

So far I have successfully made decrypted backups of around 40 discs. Whenever I create a backup, I always "spot check" a few of the mt2s files, and so far everything has been good. Until today.

I "successfully" backed up a disc, and upon checking two of the m2ts files, the video is breaking up & there is a thick green horizontal line:

Makemkv did not display any errors:
Using LibreDrive mode
Backing up disc into folder
Loaded content hash table, will verify integrity of M2TS files.
Backup done

I am using a Verbatim 43888 (Pioneer BDR-UD04).

I tried playing the m2ts files in both Potplayer and VLC Media Player, and both show the same garbled mess.

I checked the physical disc through my Blu-ray player (Panasonic UB820), and playback is flawless (no errors of any kind).

Does anyone know why this is happening?

Thankyou

I've never experienced what you describe, so I'm just guessing out loud here.

Do the visual glitches persist if you make a second decrypted backup?

If you use MakeMKV to create a .mkv file from your decrypted backup, does it contain the glitches?
