Error ripping, please help!!

I just downloaded MakeMKV yesterday because the new version allows my drive to work with the program, and I started ripping a few of my blu rays. I have had no problem ripping three other movies but when I try to rip this one I keep getting the error: Error 'Scsi error - ILLEGAL REQUEST:ILLEGAL MODE FOR THIS TRACK' occurred while reading '/BDMV/STREAM/00025.m2ts' at offset '11880167424'. The program starts running fine until it's about half way finished and then the read speed drops to nothing and these errors pop up. I have the DASPI 1.3 and obviously the latest version of MakeMKV (1.6.13). If anyone could tell me what I'm doing wrong, offer suggestions, or insight as to my problem here that would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Hi!

1) What is the title and region of your commercial Blu-ray disc?

2) Try cleaning the disc

The Blu ray is Mr. Brooks, protection: AACS v4, BD+ v2007.8
I tried cleaning the disk very well and the problem persists, the disk does have a few scratches, tho nothing too awful, if this could make a difference.

Your drive may not share your opinion that the scratches are "nothing too awful"...

Well do you think the problem are the scratches? I mean that's fine if it is, I just wanted to figure out why it isn't working.

Yeah I read that before, I just wanted to make sure that was the only possibilty, thanks for the help. Do you think having a better drive could possibly reduce the chance of this error occurring?
