I recently started building a Plex server and have been ripping my collection with Makemkv. I have been using two different blu-ray drives but the main one I have been using is ASUS BC-12B1ST.

I have been able to rip every single one of my blu-rays except for any Disney Blu-ray. Everyone of them have a read failure at some point. I have cleaned them with alcohol and some of them are brand new in the packaging. I even tried another USB powered blu-ray drive and it failed at the same points.

I have searched the forums but can't find any resolution to this.

Does anyone here have any advice to help me figure this out?

Can you copy & paste the MakeMKV log from one of the failures?

Same here! I’ll either get a power error, a read error, or no device detected. I’ve been able to get around some with copying the disk, but that doesn’t always work either.
