I just installed the 1.1.8 version. But during the decryption process, MakeMKV stopped working and a popup message saying "Fatal error occurred, program will now exit" showed up (you can see the screenshot in the attachment), then the program exited. Any suggestion to this situation?

Try going back to the previous version of MakeMKV you were using. https://makemkv.com/download/old/

There seems to be a bug in the 1.18.0 version of MakeMKV.

That's a complication. In a different post, the author of MakeMKV stated that even with 1.18.0, people would need to submit dumps to svq@makemkv.com, at least for a little bit. https://forum.makemkv.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=172232#p172232

Assuming you've submitted that dump, eventually a key will be available either with MakeMKV's internal key system where it downloads keys as needed or in the public keydb.cfg. Once a key is available I would expect 1.17.9 to work. If whatever is causing failures with 1.18.0 is fixed before a key is available, then I would say move to that version.

Problem solved! I didn't know where to put the keydb.cfg file when I tried last time. Now the 1.17.9 version is working. Thank you for the information!
