Road Trip (2000) "Unr8d" Edition AnyDVD warning

Post by pjarvi »

I received a pop-up warning that AnyDVD was running when opening this disc in MakeMKV. I do not have AnyDVD installed and have never installed it on this system. Is this a quirk with the disc itself? I had just ripped the 4K of Hotel Artemis before this and had no error.

One of the things found has been disks that are distributed with signs of having been previously ripped with AnyDVD... Sometimes by "major companies". The last time I saw the warning was when I was ripping an ABC TV series I thought was legitimate, but I can't be so sure, after looking at the packaging.

That makes sense, appears the disc is a MOD (manufactured on demand), it appears legit and was purchased through Pop.Market on ebay. I'm guessing it's something with how Paramount put the disc together. Thanks for the reply.
