BD full backup, playback jumps from one section to another section instead of playing through.

The disc plays fine on my player, it backed up fine (I have not done a rip yet, but will). I tried to use DVDFab as well and that seems to have failed too. Disc is clean and doesn't appear to have any scratches. Any other advice? There is a 4K release coming soon, so I am not too worried, but could this just be a disc issue that doesn't effect my regular blu ray player?

I have never heard of that, but it makes sense based on the name, it skips around on more than one occasion and then I get a 30 second message from Lionsgate telling me I should stop sailing the seven seas.

Lionsgate is famous for putting dozens (DVD) to hundreds (BD) of tracks on their disks that "seem like" the real one. I don't do "full backups" of such disks, because they won't play properly in most players.
You can narrow your choices by looking at the play times, but getting the correct title is sometimes difficult, and it changes with where you bought the disk.
